TWIST WITH MADAME CLICQUOT

Winney enters the frame of this classic oil painted portrait of Madame Veuve Clicquot, and invites her to dance the Twist, which she does.

We’ve been invited by Veuve Clicquot Japan to create a piece of art that was sold by auction during a charity event.

The claim of the invitation was « Twist with Veuve Clicquot ». We took this idea litterally, with our character Winney, the orange cute bull-boy dancing the Twist with Madame Clicquot..

The DVD is presented in a box evoquing a vynil record cover from the sixties. The video plays verticaly, following the format of the original painting of Madame Clicquot.

The exhibition and auction was held at The Spiral, Tokyo.
